Lee and Alice Tavare and Kevin Simas have owned Hideaway Ranch since January 2005. The Ranch has been here for many years. Starting in the 1960's Hideaway Ranch was a place where you could rent horses and go out on the tranquil trails for a ride. We are now a full care horse boarding facility, and no longer rent horses for trail rides. For those who board their horses here, they have miles of gorgeous trails on thousands of acres to ride with the direct access to Las Trampas Regional Wilderness park and East Bay Municipal Utilities District watershed. Along with the trail riding accessibility there are lighted indoor and outdoor arenas and a round pen to work or ride your horse.
